I believe this to be a later made ring as this was a "player model" ring. Cannot find any record of CE Olsen with the Yankees, but a beautiful ring.

Cy Perkins played as a catcher for the Philadelphia Athletics (1915, 1917–30), New York Yankees (1931) and Detroit Tigers (1934). On June 6, 1930, in an Athletics game against the St. Louis Browns, Perkins helped lead the team to a 5-4 victory in the unusual role of First Baseman, his only turn at that position. Someone made him this "award" on a leather bag tag: "Presented to Cy Perkins June 6, 1930 Outstanding Baeman and Clean Up Man." 4" w x 7.5" l
